This stunning owl played cat and mouse with me for an hour! I spotted him in this clear cut about a half a mile in. Everytime I would make some progress towards him, he would turn and stare at me for 3-5 minutes then look away. I would take another few steps until he turned around (head only) then would stop and wait. This went on and on until the shot was captured.
